Also, check out the company’s social media accounts to learn more about the culture. Also, if the team clearly values creativity, make sure to naturally include that. Furthermore, learn about their strengths and provide compliments about what the company is doing well. Tips for Interviewing

  1. Participate in an informational interview: First, try to find someone in your 1st or 2nd level network at the company you would like to work at. Request a few minutes of their time to conduct an informational interview. Not only will this provide you with an insider who could become an advocate for you but it’ll provide you with deeper insights into the job. 
  2. Ask questions: Secondly, you should ask questions throughout the interview and at the end. Never leave the interview table at the end without having asked at least one question. The question should be something based on research you’ve done or something that came up during the interview. Also, asking questions also gives you the opportunity to find out if this is the right place for you. The best questions come from listening to what you’re asked during the interview and asking for additional information.
  3. Thank your interviewer: Lastly, at the end of the interview don’t forget to thank your interviewer for their time and for considering you for the position. Once you have left then write them a thank you letter or card that reiterates your interest in the position and thanks for being considered. Doing this helps keep you fresh in their mind and helps you stand out from the crowd.
